Technical presenter Bill Goostree of Universal Connect spoke about our wireless culture as it is and as it is transforming to be. He demonstrated how easily one can be empowered to stay "connected" with a single source communications system. The ability to stay in touch increases personal time, increases productivity and lowers the "cost of doing business".
Dinner speaker Tarak Modi, a Senior Specialist with the North Highland Company, presented Five Steps for Preparing for Tomorrow's Technology Trends, Today! -- no-nonsense things that an IT shop must look at to survive in the current and next wave of technology trends. Topics that the 5 steps include are Offshore Development, Enterprise Architecture, Application Integration and Web Services.
